Michael and Frances Beatty (Staffordshire)

We went out of season at the end of March. Arrived by train, used the buses, didn't bother with a car. Brilliant sunshine and blue sky every day, with a chilly wind in the early week. Suited us perfectly. This home has a lovely feel about it, a traditional terrace house in the middle of the old town. We walked to Juan Les Pins one day and caught a bus back. Wouldn't recommend JleP out of season. It's a beach resort. Despite Mike having mobility issues the two flights of stairs weren't a problem. The roof terrace was a real bonus, bathed in sunshine all afternoon, a great place to relax, read a book - before the beaches come to life from April onwards. The town was quiet but all the shops and restaurants were open, full of locals which we enjoyed. Delicious seafood. So we didn't bother to cook. Great holiday.

Dear Frances and Michael We hope to welcome you again in the future. Kind regards Janne

Location and Charm

We have stayed in this house several times in the past 4 years. The location is very convenient, 10/15 min walk to train station, choice to 3 different grocery shops, easy walk to restaurants, cafes, beaches, the port. It is on a pedestrian street, which in summer makes a big difference at night (it is quieter). The air conditioner and roof terrace are a big plus too. The house is on three floors, with circular kind of steep staircase so I would not recommend to people with mobility issues or elderly. My family loves this place and Janne makes it easy for us to feel at home there. We have never had a problem, but she is just a phone call or email away if issues were to arise. We hope to come back many more times to this lovely house.

Relaxing Home Away From Home

Relaxing Home Away From Home Left on May 2, 2015 for a stay in Apr 2015 1 people found this review helpful I would agree with most other reviewers in their positive take on this property. The uniqueness of this review is in the information for parking and medical care. We stayed at this property with our two young children. We rented a car (to travel the region with our young children) and found the nearest car park very safe and convenient. On the first day, there is an option at the machine to pay for a full week's stay and we would recommend this. You could also reserve it online beforehand and have a printout to carry with you. Our youngest developed a very bad ear infection and the doctor's surgery recommended in the book that comes with the house was very good to us. We were given all we needed and were very satisfied with the care. Overall, we loved our time in Antibes and have been recommending it to others ever since our return.
